Popular business journalist “Stevie B” (Steven Bacher) hosts KayaBiz from 5pm to 6pm every weekday evening, conducting interviews ranging from technology to the performance of the market. He was the business editor at Talk Radio 702 and director of a financial company listed on the JSE. He is straight-talking, and helps to demystify sometimes complex business topics for his listeners.

In the interview, Bacher said he was a little sceptical when he first heard about CollectiveCow because his first thought was that it could be a pyramid scheme, however he quickly changed his mind.

“I’m going to put my professional name out there [for CollectiveCow]. I really love your thinking, here Tara; it’s a wonderful idea! I wish I’d thought of it!”

“CollectiveCow is like a stokvel, only it’s with people you don’t know and it’s online. It’s quick and the discounts are fabulous!” Turkington explained.

She was also recently interviewed on John Robbie’s show on Talk Radio 702, when Flow Communications and CollectiveCow were featured as top businesses in the FNB/702 Entrepreneurs SA programme.

CollectiveCow deals on at the moment include 68% off a stay at the luxurious Jaci’s Lodges in Madikwe, 63% off a visit to the Origins Centre, and 50% off a voucher for Mike’s Kitchen at Northgate Mall in Johannesburg.
